Summer Camp 2010

This year we're pleased to kick off the summer with two distinct camp options - ROBOLAB Camps and Summer Camps.

Our regular Summer Camps will utilize a wide variety of spaces in and around the museum - filled with fun, interaction, and hands-on play for kids, these camps are a great option for children of all ages.

Our ROBOLAB Camps will be held in ROBOLAB, designed for robotics and motorized & non-motorized small machine building concepts.  Utilizing computers, LEGO Robots and LEGO Simple Machines (motorized and non-motorized) we'll play through a wide variety of learning opportunities in math, science, engineering and computer programming.  For ROBOLAB Camps, on July 5th, we will have camp - if your child is unable to attend on that day, please let us know and we'll pro-rate that week's fees for the missed day.

In both the morning session and afternoon session camps, we provide a small snack with juice or bottled water for campers at the break.

ROBOLAB CAMPS

SUMMER CAMPS

Big Thinkers!

We often hear “think outside the box... See More“- but what does that mean? Each week, in Big Thinkers!, kids are encouraged to think outside the box as we explore a wide range of concepts, ideas and little known facts about our world. This is “stealthy” learning at its best - science, math, language arts and more are all included without being taught, as kids play to learn and have fun thinking along the way! Each week we'll start with a theme and go from there, using a variety of fun ways to explore and learn - arts & crafts, LEGO, K'Nex, imagination and more!
