ROBOLAB: Wilderness Dataloggers

As mankind moves into a new century, new technologies are created that assist us in taking proper care of our home – the planet Earth. In Wilderness Dataloggers, environmentally friendly robots are commissioned to perform tasks in the Green Geyser Wilderness Park after a storm hits, endangering the ecosystem and human visitors. Using ROBOLAB™ and Lego Mindstorms, you will need to design, build, and program a robot to perform tasks such as salvaging a bridge, extracting microbe samples from geysers, and placing a radio collar on a grizzly bear. Watch out for the poison ivy!

No previous robotics experience required.

Grades: 1 to 6
Children enrolled need solid reading skills and basic knowledge of computers (keyboard and mouse skills)
